SUMMER and INDOOR only -Track Meets are additional cost, ranging from $30 for local meets and $150 - $250 for out of town/state travel meets. Lodging Transportation and Meals are at the expense of athletes and their families.

• Out of town meets are at the expense of the athlete’s caregiver/family. These costs include transportation, lodging, and meals. Please communicate with Coaches and Team Manager if it’s necessary for unaccompanied minor travel.

  June 3rd- 1st Day of Summer Practice for Elite athletes (13-18)

  June 13 – WTFA & ASA Summer Meet

  June 20th-Xtreme Speed Meet -Kent Meridian HS

  June 26-28 Junior Olympics association meet Mt Tahoma High School

  *July 8-12 - USATF JO REGION 13 @ Mt Tahoma High School

  *July 27-August 2nd - USATF JO CHAMPIONSHIPS @ Cerritos College, Norwalk, CA

  *Indicates optional/qualifying meet- these meets are intended for athletes who intend to compete in USATF Junior Olympics and must qualify in procession from Regionals and Nationals and at the expense of athlete’s family.

  Note- when registering for training and meets you can now specify which meets you’re available for (meets are a la cart). You may register for training only without competing but you MUST select training if you choose to compete.

  *CAUTION- meet registrations close 2 weeks before meet date and will not reopen for any reason!

  • Out of town meets are at the expense of the athlete’s caregiver/family. These costs include transportation, lodging, and meals. Please plan accordingly as carpooling with teammates might be an option for you but should be made independently.  Group reservations can be made with notice of family.

  Make sure to affiliate with Alpha Speed Academy on USATF site OR request affiliation change by emailing membership@usatf.org with the following request

FALL Training Info

Fall Training Registration opens August 7th

Welcome to team Alpha Speed Academy! Ages 13-18

We are a Track and Field specific training and competition team and specialize in sprints, jumps and hurdles both indoor and outdoor.

We will be holding our first practice Monday September 8th at 6 pm @ Curtis High School for our jumpers, sprinters and hurdlers

Below you’ll see a link to online registration and payment.  This needs to be completed and paid beforefirst practice.

As a team, we will be utilizing the TeamSnap app for team chats & scheduling. Please download this app as it's our method of sharing updated information.

Cost: Fall Training 3 months -Sept-Nov ($555) Monthly options available

Practices:

• Sunday- Practice 1pm @ Hunt Middle School or Curtis High School

• Monday + Wednesday 6:00-7:00 pm Hunt/Curtis (sign up on TeamSnap for confirmed location)

• Weights are Wednesday & Sunday as apart of practice @Curtis HS weight room
